At the rear of a church parking lot, I encountered a large garden area, with benches, memorial tributes, artwork, and, of course, a labyrinth. The medieval seven-circuit pattern is a star attraction, at least in my mind, and it was a restful walk. Just over the fence from it is Caldera High School. a new, mega-sized high school that speaks to the rapid population growth in the Bend, Oregon, area. This labyrinth is at Nativity Lutheran Church. which I learned from a local volunteer is a community resource, very active with donating wood and food to people in need. The church also allows some safe overnight parking in its space too, another impact of the Bend boom.
