When I found out about this labyrinth, what struck me first was the structure at the center. It's on a private property on a rural residence in Bend, Oregon. When I called the homeowner to ask for permission, he explained that he had a friend who built gazebos, and he thought it would be interesting to have one in the middle of his labyrinth. So he did.
I enjoyed walking this path, and then resting in the center, in the octagonal structure. A labyrinth's center is a spot I usually stand in and then retreat back out. It's a Roman-style five-circuit labyrinth.
