Glen Ellen, CA - In the hills

Deep in Sonoma County is Glen Ellen, which includes the quaint Glen Ellen Village, a gem of a recreation space in Jack London State Park, and the vineyards and hills that have made that part of the country a world-class destination.

I was thrilled to learn that at a private home nestled in that area was a labyrinth that sounded worthwhile. It was a stone design with an eclectic mix of shells and glass beads and colorful sparkling gems to be found. The homeowner put in the labyrinth several years ago and it was a delight to walk it, and then walk a short quarter-mile nature trail that encircled the property. I'm always appreciative and grateful when I can walk a private labyrinth as I know it's a special space, as this spot certainly was.
