The first time I drove by the Labyrinth Gardens a few years ago, it had just closed due to the pandemic. Three years later, it seems unlikely to re-open. So I reached out to the site and asked if I could swing by. It's in its "winter dormancy" state as I was told and it was a bit overgrown, but otherwise, a terrific find. It's an expansively wide 11-circle grass pattern just off a main highway route. I enjoyed a slow walk around it. I do hope it does re-open someday and can picture heading back out there on a less cold, less rainy occasion, maybe with lots of other people who have stopped by. But until then, as you drive by and spot the Labyrinth Gardens sign, you'll have to wait.
