Mooresville, NC - Near the lake that is more than a lake

A trip to the Charlotte, NC, area often touches Lake Norman in some way. It's a huge body of water and creates beautiful coastal villages and towns, and really feels like a natural oasis. This path came during yet another fall football weekend, this time to see Davidson College play. Why Davidson? No particular reason - I had heard it was a pretty campus, I'd never seen it, it was close to a major airport, and I could also see a couple of friends who lived nearby. This visit was in the fall of 2021. The labyrinth was at St. Patrick's, an Episcopal church in Mooresville, about 10 minutes from the Davidson campus. Like many labyrinths I come across in the US, this began as an Eagle Scout project.
