The labyrinth outside of the Center for Spiritual Living in Palm Springs is unusual. For one, it's long - a 600-foot path. And it winds over an uneven corner lot. And it's not circular or square, or even in a collected pattern. And in between the paths, most interestingly, are collections of rocks that are slowly filling in the gaps. After I walked, I contributed a few rocks to some of the 'infill' areas. According to the center's website, one of their members designed the labyrinth. It fits in well to the landscape, and even though it's on a busy road, walking it felt like a small trip into peaceful reflection.
