The Min Zidell Healing Garden is a tranquil place. It's a bit of an oasis amid a rough area in south Portland, between some busy roads, a few derelict vehicles and a small residential neighborhood. It is technically on the campus of the National University of Natural Medicine. I wasn't aware of the school - or the garden - until recently. The labyrinth is a large, sweeping Celtic Knot design that takes over a brick and stone courtyard. There are a few works of art flanking it and some seating for reflection. The photos below tell a bit more about the garden's origin.
