Providence, RI - Faint in the grass

The Church of the Redeemer is an institution in Providence. It dates back to the late 1850s and has been a cornerstone in the community and neighborhood ever since. As a child, I went there for pancake breakfast and occasional concerts and other things. I haven't been back in many decades but on a recent trip, I tried to walk the labyrinth under the trees on the front lawn. It's a sprawling, non-traditional pattern and grass has mainly overtaken many of the stones so I couldn't walk the complete circuit. Still visible however is the distinctive center, a cross made of stained glass set into a concrete stone.
