It's slightly faded, but if you're on the Providence College campus, search out the school's Arts Walk for a labyrinth that is modeled on the Chartres cathedral one. It's located directly in front of Hunt-Cavanagh Hall on the grounds of the school, which is a small higher education institution located in, where else, Providence, Rhode Island, which happens to be my hometown.
On the day that I visited, temperatures were well below freezing and the campus was still on winter break so there was no one else in sight in any direction. One distinguishing feature of this labyrinth is how incredibly narrow the paths were, as you can tell from one of the photos of my sneaker in the pattern.
Next to the labyrinth is a sundial installation that is a creative art element matching up well with its surroundings. According to a college website page, the stretch of land used to be a small campus road that was converted a decade ago to a pedestrian path.
