Redlands, CA - Campus solitude

I had never heard of the University of Redlands, but one of the not-insignificant joys of my labyrinth hobby is the chance to see new places and learn about them. While in Southern California recently, I stopped at the campus of this private school, which is known for its trees, including lush orange groves, as well as of course for its educational work, which stretches across several locations. And its mascot is Addie the bulldog. The labyrinth here was built nearly 20 years ago and is a reflective spot on an active campus. While I walked it, I was in the shadow of a major nearby construction project as well as activity happening loudly at other campus buildings. It's a large, 11-circuit design that took awhile to walk, which is always a good thing.
