Just a few blocks from Chinatown in San Francisco is where I found a star-shaped labyrinth recently. It wasn't a true labyrinth as I could head different directions, but it is similar and, more importantly, it fulfills the purpose of providing a meditative, calming walking space. And in the midst of a very busy downtown area. This is in St. Mary's Square, which is in the 600 block of California Street. It's a short walk, or cable car ride, from all of central SF attractions. It's also across the street from Old St. Mary's Cathedral.
