San Leandro, CA - Meditation during tough times

When people ask me where to find labyrinths, I point to churches and hospitals. I always appreciate a hospital that keeps one close by, and at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Leandro, CA, just outside of Oakland, it is steps from the Emergency Department entrance. I can imagine many people pacing outside and walking it, waiting for hopefully good news from inside. But sometimes, the news won't be welcomed, and maybe the soft pattern of a labyrinth will be a peaceful moment in a time of crisis.
