Denny Park is the oldest park in Seattle, according to several sources. It couldn't be more central to the city's most popular attractions, given that it is steps from the Space Needle and a short walk to most of the other high-traveled sites. That said, the park was nearly empty when I stopped by on a recent weekend. The weather was decent, it was the middle of the day, and the city was packed with Comic-Con happening nearby.
Interesting fact - the park came into existence in 1861, just 10 years after the founding of Seattle as a city.
Still, any time I can walk in a labyrinth alone is a meditative, relaxing experience.
This brick circuit is tucked in a corner near the children's playground.
