Towering pine trees fill the block that houses the Church of the Transfiguration in Sisters, Oregon. It's an idyllic setting, and though near a main road, it's a quiet space. The six-circuit brick paved labyrinth there was easy to find, as it occupies a prime space in the church's memorial garden area. There's a sign encouraging people to walk it, and pamphlets explaining what a labyrinth is and how it should be walked. I appreciate these because it helps spread the word a bit more than I could probably do about the concept of labyrinths.
