One of the newer labyrinths in the Pacific Northwest is in Vancouver, Washington, just outside of Portland. It was dedicated in November 2022 and is at Vancouver Heights United Methodist Church. The concrete, seven-circuit design is easy to find, just off the parking lot. It is accompanied by two benches, a reading case with helpful information and lots of grass and trees nearby for shade and calmness.
Most labyrinths I visit don't include much information beyond the creation date, but this one had a fount of interesting knowledge, including a list of those responsible for supporting and building it. And I counted a half-dozen different inspirational brochures alone.
One stand-out quote: "The point of a maze is to find its center. The point of a labyrinth is to find YOUR center."
Indeed.
